We have a special treat planned for the September Exploring the Power of Voice event: The Music Box Theater presents “Keep It Brassy! 2.” For the second year in a row, they’ve added trumpet, saxophone, and trombone to their already dazzling house band, and they are ready to blow us away with classics by Blood, Sweat & Tears, Chicago, Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Amy Winehouse, Etta James, Billy Joel, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Patti LaBelle, and many more!
The September 29, 2018, session of our foundational Living Your Voice 101 workshop will be held at The Jung Center in Houston, Texas. LYV101 addresses a wide spectrum of challenges that get in the way of our speaking or singing like we’ve always wanted to. We combine fundamental vocal technique with creative performance experiences that will help you build greater confidence.

Our Living Your Voice 102 class series offers participants an opportunity to build on the vocal technique and personal empowerment process they learned in Living Your Voice 101. This series is project-oriented, and each participant will prepare a speech, a presentation, or a song of their own choosing for a celebration for family and friends at the end of the series.

The next Living Your Voice 102 Showcase Celebration will take place on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at The Village of the Heights senior-care facility in Houston.
Tony Pryor will lead us in singing sacred and secular holiday favorites, and the singers of Living Your Voice students will sing solos and lead group songs. This evening of fun is a thank-you for your support throughout 2018 and to Saint Andrew’s for being home to many Living Your Voice programs this year.
We'll serve holiday treats and hot cider. Please join us for this joyous, family-friendly event!
