World Singing Day is a global sing-along held annually on the third Saturday in October. As a catalyst for positive human connection, this one day each year serves as an opportunity to celebrate our global family through the international language of music. 2019 marks the eighth annual World Singing Day and the Houston debut of this global event!

Powerful Voices: 39th Annual Messiah Sing-Along at First Presbyterian

First Presbyterian Church hosts Houston’s longest-running Handel's Messiah Sing-Along. Come join hundreds of other voices singing favorite choruses of this masterpiece with soloists and orchestra. Music scores will be provided.

We'll gather for dinner or drinks before the show at Bellagreen in the Heights, then park at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church and carpool to First Presbyterian.

Finding Meaning—Your Journey, Your Story

Every life journey is unique. Each of our stories is worth telling and worth hearing.

In this six-week “listening group” series, we will seek clarity and healing through sharing our personal life stories and hearing the life stories of other participants. Using James Hollis’s book, Finding Meaning in the Second Half of Life, as our inspirational text, we will seek to unlock the mysteries of our own journeys.
