Description
In the face of the COVID pandemic and stay-at-home orders, we made the decision to go online to complete our most recent Living Your Voice 102 class series. Our Zoom-based class series generated a lot of ideas about how best to continue to serve our community. We think it’s important to offer the safe space, positive feedback, and mutual support of the LYV 102 experience. But the technical limitations of online meeting tools make it difficult to accompany singers to prepare for a performance.
So we decided to rethink the class format to focus on the shared experience and sense of connection. Instead of a series of classes leading toward a Showcase Celebration, Living Your Voice VIRTUAL 102 is an ongoing, weekly class that’s open to all LYV 101 alumni. Join us every week, or drop in from time to time to sing a song, share a story, and enjoy the support and camaraderie of the Living Your Voice community.
As always, the class offers members flexibility to use their allotted time in the online class as they choose—to focus on empowerment or to share progress on a project, such as preparation of a speech, a presentation, or a song. Along with group exercises, class members may choose to receive individualized coaching with the support of the class. Class members may sing to their favorite backing tracks or make arrangements for Tony to prepare recorded accompaniment tracks.
All participants are encouraged to join the private “Friends of Living Your Voice” Facebook group to share audio and video recordings of their performances, as well as another way to support one another.
Tuition
Tuition is $20 to $40 per person per class. Please pay at whatever level is appropriate to your financial circumstances, or contact us if you would like to make other arrangements regarding tuition.

The prerequisite for the Living Your Voice VIRTUAL 102 class is the Living Your Voice 101 workshop or an equivalent experience.
